The existing ground sign meets the height, <br />34 size, and setback requirements of the Roseville City Code. <br />35 <br />36 In 1989, the City approved a sign permit to allow the construction of the Edina Realty <br />37 Sign along the Terrace Drive side of the building and associated site improvements. <br />38 <br />39 The City Planner has determined that since the initial construction of 1989, the right of <br />40 way has been reconstructed to allow for a Lincoln Drive access point and the landscape <br />41 surrounding the building and parking lot has matured, making it difficult to properly and <br />42 appropriately notice or read the sign. <br />43 <br />44 The Staff recommends approval of a 5 foot Variance to Section 1009.03M of the City <br /> <br />45 Code Sign Section (Ground Sign Dimensional Requirements)to allow the relocation of a <br />46 legal conforming ground sign on Terrace Drive to a point no closer than 10 foot from the <br />Page 4 of 10 <br /> <br />
