Mr. <br />16 DeBorde said he preferred a solid wall for security reasons. <br />17 <br />18 Chair Bakeman closed the hearing. <br />Motion: <br />19 Member Doherty moved, seconded by Member Traynor, to adopt a <br /> <br />20 Resolution approving a 704 sq. ft. lot coverage Variance to Section 1004.01A6,of the <br />21 Roseville City Code for Paul Deborde, 1740 Galtier Street, based on the findings in <br />22 Section 5 and the conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated August 3, 2005. <br />23 <br />24 Ayes: 3 <br />25 Nays: 0 <br />26 Motion carried. 3-0 <br />27 <br /> <br />e.Planning File 3660: Request by John Lehr for a Variance to Section <br />28 <br />1016 (Shoreland Regulations) of the Roseville City Code to allow the <br />29 <br />construction of a kitchen addition that encroaches no closer to the <br />30 <br />Ordinary High Watermark than the existing home or a distance of 65 <br />31 <br />feet for the property at 3135 Sandy Hook Drive. <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 Chair Bakeman opened the hearing and requested staff to provide a verbal summary of <br />35 the project report dated August 3, 2005. <br />36 <br />37 Thomas Paschke, City Planner, indicated that John Lehr has submitted a proposal to <br />38 construct a 9 foot by 12 foot kitchen addition on to the existing principal structure that <br />39 would encroach into the 75 foot minimum structure setback from a water body (Lake <br />40 Owasso). <br />41 <br />42 The Lehr home was constructed in 1966 and lies 65 feet from the ordinary high <br />43 watermark of Lake Owasso, which location is non-conforming to the City Code.
