539 offered to answer specific questions of the PWETC, and if not available to him on <br />540 the website, he would e-mail the MPCA for definitions and that information and <br />541 provide it for dissemination to the PWETC. Mr. Johnson clarified that level #1 in <br />542 accessing the website would be the City Council's passing of the resolution; <br />543 which would become public for anyone to access the information specific to the <br />544 City of Roseville. At this time, Mr. Johnson advised that it was readable for the <br />545 public, and offered to send out a link to the Roseville site, but cautioned that the <br />546 information to -date remained rather mundane with only population and <br />547 demographic information completed until things were filled out more. Mr. <br />548 Johnson suggested a review of the City of Shoreview's and City of Falcon <br />549 Heights' sites as examples of information developed over several years already. <br />550 Mr. Johnson advised that he intended to fill in more data during the winter months <br />551 as the construction period wound down. <br />552 <br />553 Chair Stenlund noted that some of the GreenStep areas are not specific to the <br />554 PWETC, but some more applicable to Finance, Planning or other areas of <br />555 expertise. Chair Stenlund suggested it would help to know how t e PWETC can <br />556 help, and not just in educating the community. <br />557 <br />558 Member Seigler agreed that Step uld be good for the WETC as <br />559 well. <br />560 <br />561 Discussion ensued regarding other areas listed in the inventory and how they <br />562 applied specifically to current and/or future Roseville code and policy; and the <br />563 need for an outline of gaps beyond those required that may indicate <br />564 communication with block clubs, congregations or other community groups to <br />565 facilitate their ed cation <br />566 <br />567 r. Johnson advise that he would segregate those items more appropriate for the <br />568 PWETC to handle and suggest a role for them to play in helping. <br />569 <br />570 MSchwartz advised that would first select the easier items to accomplish <br />571 an ring it back to the P4 <br />or their policy direction and a list of priorities <br />572 and next steps for checking those items off the inventory. <br />573 <br />574 8. Commune olar / City Facility Energy Use <br />575 Mr. Schwartz rovided a brief update since the last meeting on community solar; <br />576 expressing his hope that things could have been further along, but noted that <br />577 financial discussions were still underway internally, and information not yet <br />578 available. However, Mr. Schwartz advised that Mr. Johnson had prepared a chart <br />579 on energy use by city facilities; and staff had met with the IOK Solar firm from <br />580 Bloomington, part of the Minnesota Made Companies qualifying for Made in MN <br />581 credits, who was putting together budgetary numbers and potentially would bring <br />582 one of their marketing people to the next meeting of the PWETC to discuss their <br />583 findings. Mr. Schwartz advised that staff s vision at this time is to have that <br />584 budgetary discussion and consideration of the next steps at the October meeting, <br />Page 13 of 16 <br />
