TRIP GENERATION Table 21-1 presents the trip generation estimate for Centre Pointe prepared by BR W in 1997. The Institute of Transportation Engineers' 5th Edition of Trip Generation was used to develop the trip generation estimate. The trip generation estimate includes a ten- percent reduction for multi-use and internal trips. Table 21-2 presents the trip generation estimate for Centre Pointe Business Park concept as approved in February 2000. Current trip generation rates from the Institute of Transportation Engineers' 6th Edition of Trip Generation were used to develop this generation estimate. The estimate includes the same ten-percent multi-use reduction. The development as approved in February 2000 was estimated to generate roughly 950 fewer daily trips and only 14 additional p.rn. peak hour trips. The decrease in daily trip generation is the result of one restaurant being removed from the development concept.
