The <br />parking demand Is estimated as fol lows: <br /> <br />Resident Students <br />(470 stal Is) (50%) <br /> <br />235 stalls <br /> <br />Maranatha Hall <br />(1,400 seats) (0.3 spaces/seat) <br /> <br />Basketba I I Game <br />(2,000 seats) (0.3 spaces/seat) <br /> <br />Total Parking Design Demand, <br /> <br />420 stalls <br /> <br />2.Q~L~!~11~ <br /> <br />1 ,255 stalls <br /> <br />The 0.3 parking space/seat requirement for events at <br />Maranatha Hall and the Life and Heal th FI tness Center, <br />although a recommended minimum design standard, is felt to <br />be reasonable and prudent since: <br /> <br />a) No additional reduction In parking demand Is <br />prov Ided for on-campus students, whose <br />vehicles are al ready on campus, who would be <br />attending one of the events. <br /> <br />b) No additional reduction in parking demand Is <br />prov Ided for the use of buses to get persons <br />to either event. <br /> <br />The Amended PUD Plan for Northwestern Col lege ultimately <br />proposes the addition of 565 parking stal Is throughout the <br />campus with over 300 of these stal Is located on the <br />Rosevll Ie portion of the campus, as shown on Exhibit A, In <br />the follow i ng new facll itl es: <br /> <br />1. Twenty- s I x (26) spaces at the south end of the <br />linear lot located between the Main Entrance Roadway <br />and Berntsen Hal I (Identified as Proposed Lot A) to <br />serve primarily on-campus residents and athletic <br />f iel d events. <br /> <br />2.
