These requirements were added to <br />3 <br />§1102.01 of Title 11, Subdivision. During that approval process, the City Council directed the <br />4 <br />Planning staff to incorporate a number of the approved requirements into §1009.07 Developer <br />5 <br />Open House Meetings. <br />6 <br />Planning staff will note that under the timing section there is a difference between the existing <br />7 <br />Zoning Code version and the Subdivision Code version that will be corrected by the proposed <br />8 <br />text amendment, as well as clarification on a couple of other items. <br />9 <br />Below are the current requirements for a developer open house in §1009.07: <br />10 <br />1009.07 Developer Open House Meetings <br />11 <br />Purpose: <br />A.Certain proposals or applications for development may constitute significant <br />12 <br />departures from the present or historical use and/or zoning of a property. Prior to submitting <br />13 <br />an application for approval of an interim use or zoning map change, therefore, an applicant <br />14 <br />shall hold an open house meeting with property owners in the vicinity of the potential <br />15 <br />development location in order to provide a convenient forum for engaging community <br />16 <br />members in the development process, to describe the proposal in detail, and to answer <br />17 <br />questions and solicit feedback. <br />18 <br />Timing: <br />B.The open house shall be held not more than 30 days prior to the submission of an <br />19 <br />application for approval of a proposal requiring a developer open house meeting and shall be <br />20 <br />PROJ-0017_Amdt22_111014 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
