He asked <br />staff to review the Woodbury Medical Complex or campus. He is opposed to <br />traditional "Big Box" retail, but found Kowalski store in Woodbury more <br />acceptable. This is a 20-year vision; with no immediately threat to current <br />businesses. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Mulder moved, second by Member Klausing, to continue the <br />Public Hearing to December ~eeting. ( ~ <br /> <br />Ayes: 4, Klausing, Olson, Wilke, ~ ~ <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing asked that staff spend more time on land use items. <br /> <br />Member Olson said she was supportive of option #2 and/or a medical campus. <br /> <br />Member Mulder suggested options not be "either/or" situations, but rather a <br />continuum of uses - or visioning process. There is not a significant discussion <br />(yet) on mixing of uses. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing suggested thinking in tenus of ranking items that may be <br />attractive in each area. <br /> <br />Staff was asked to prepare a listing of uses and charts to make alternatives and <br />decision-making on Twin Lakes easier to compare. <br />
