September 18, 2001

Mr. Kenneth Damman
346 South McCarrons Boulevard
Roseville, MN 55113

RE: Application for a Variance

Dear Mr. Damman:

This letter is a follow-up to our conversation of Monday, September 17,2001 regarding your
application for variance. The Conmmnity Development Department has completed a detailed
review of your propeliy and concluded that at least two variance and a conditional use permit are
necessary for you to erect the proposed 12-foot by 16 foot accessory building.

As discussed on September 17,2001, you could erect a 10 foot by 12 garden shed withou~
needing approval by the Roseville City Council. This shed must be the only shed on the
premises, which means that the shed located to the rear of the northem most accessory building,
must be removed prior to the issuance of a building permit.

Further, should you determine that the garden shed approach better suits your immediate needs, a
letter withdrawing your variance application is necessary. This letter should be addressed to my
attention and state that you have decided to withdraw your application for a variance and no
longer request approval of the requested action.

Thank you for your assistance in gathering site information, it was helpful. Should you have any
questions, please call me 651-490-2236.

Sincerely,

~

Thomas Paschke
City Planner

cc: PF3342

2660 Civic Center Drive .:.
