<br />City of Roseville - City Council Minutes for September 22,2003 <br /> <br />Page 3 of3 <br /> <br />Council member Kough spoke in support of the motion, <br />reminding Councilmember Klausing of precedent already set in <br />changing the aesthetics of a neighborhood on Dunlap Avenue. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Ayes: Kough and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: Maschka and Klausing. <br /> <br />Motion failed. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded approval of a motion <br />granting a Variance to allow for construction of an accessory <br />building (detached garage) not to exceed 864 square feet, at <br />1019 Sherren Avenue. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued related to the preference in building <br />size of the applicant, and that being considered by the Council. <br /> <br />Staff and City Attorney Anderson were consulted as to the <br />avenues open to the applicant; whether action should be tabled <br />for availability of the full Council; the time frame expiration on <br />October 31, 2003 to meet the sixty (60) day compliance for <br />Planning consideration; and the applicant's desire to obtain and <br />present additional historical documentation on precedents set <br />by the Council. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Ayes: Maschka, Klausing, Kough and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn encouraged the applicant to request time on <br />the next regular Council agenda if he wished further <br />consideration. <br /> <br />http://www.ci.roseville.mn.us/coul1cil/meetings/minutes/2003/mn030922.htm <br /> <br />12/04/2003 <br />
