EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Council Member RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 859 SQ. FT. VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 600 SEXTANT AVENUE (PF3478) WHEREAS, Bernard & Kathy Laur have requested a variance to Section 1004.0 1A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction a 225 square foot three-season porch; and WHEREAS, the Laur's parcel is located at 600 Sextant Avenue and legally described as: Lot 2, Block 1, Tuerk's Outback PID: 12-29-23-23-0048. WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code limits a single family residential parcel to maximum total surface area coverage (lot coverage) of 30% or in the case of the Lam parcel 3,312 square feet; and WHEREAS, the Bernard & Kathy Lam seek approval to allow an additional 859 square feet of impervious coverage (pre-existing and proposed) creating a parcel total of 4, 171 square feet or 38%; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the Lam variance request (Section 1004.01A6) on June 4,2003, and recommended (6-0) approval of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated June 4, 2003. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Bernard & Kathy Lam a 859 square foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction a 225 square foot three- season porch at 600 Sextant Avenue, subject to the following conditions: 1
