As noted before, <br />keeping and helping quality companies grow is a goal for the community as part of our economic <br />development strategy to "Support Business Development that Increases the Tax Base and Adds <br />Quality Jobs ". <br /> <br />Secure Computing's Midwest office headquarters would be a key focal point and great fit within <br />the Twin Lakes Redevelopment area. Construction could begin in 2005. Twin Lakes' excellent <br />access and convenient location as well as neighborhood shopping, dining, living and recreational <br />amenities would provide Secure Computing with a great location for both the corporate and <br />employees benefits. <br /> <br />Pursuant to on-going guidance from the Roseville City Council, Roseville is committed to <br />providing an expedient and quality redevelopment of Twin Lakes in addition to facilitating <br />methods for providing public assistance that make Roseville a good and marketable location <br />decision. Some of the tools that we can provide include the following: <br /> <br />. Land Price - It is our understanding that Ryan would purchase the site, construct the <br />building and provide Secure with a 10 year renewable lease. The City's estimate of the <br />seller's asking price for the site Ryan has proposed is above market price per square foot for <br />a typical office building transaction. However, Ryan would purchase the site and seek <br />reimbursement from the City for site and clean up costs primarily through Roseville's Tax <br />Increment Program.
