<br /> <br />to due and a <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on <br /> <br /> <br />the <br />March, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Boerigter and <br />Doherty, and Pust. <br /> <br />Variance Board Member <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 14 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 4 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1012.02B2 <br />(REQUIRED YARDS & OPEN SPACE) AND A VARIACNE TO SECTION 1012.02Cl <br />(LOCATION) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF AN 8 FOOT TALL UNIFORM CEDAR FENCE ADJACENT TO COUNTY ROAD C <br />ON PARCELS LOCATED AT 2650 PASCAL STREET, 1446, 1438, 1432, 1426, 1420, 1412, <br />1404, AND 1398 TALISMAN CURVE, AND 2655 SHELDON STREET (PF3629) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville & Ramsey County (on behalf of 10 residents) have <br />requested VARIANCES to Section 10120fthe Roseville City Code to allow the construction of <br />an 8 foot tall uniforn cedar screen fence in the rear yards of specific propertys located between <br />Pascal Street and Sheldon Street; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Brown propeliies are located at 2650 Pascal Street, 1446, 1438, 1432, <br />1426, 1420, 1412, 1404 and 1398 Talisman Curve, and 2655 Sheldon Street, and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Lot 3 - 12, Block 6, Rose Park <br />PIN 03-29-23-34-0089 to 0098 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.02B2 (Structures Not Considered Encroachments) states that <br />fences in front yards shall not exceed 4 feet in height; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.02C (Fences) requires the pleasant side of the fence, that <br />without the post, to face the neighboring propeliy or street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville and Ramsey County desire to replace existing fences <br />with an 8 foot tall uniform cedar screen fence along the new property line adjacent to County <br />Road C; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the VARIANCE BOARD has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br /> <br />1 <br />
