Commissioner 365 <br />Gardella responded she was fine with the focus being neighborhood associations to keep it 366 <br />focused but knowing that other things would probably be talked about discussed. 367 <br /> 368 <br />Vice Chair Becker stated added the task force could change its scope if they it wanted. He 369 <br />suggested they phrase it the charge of being a 3 to 6 month process with the initial scope of being 370 <br />neighborhood associations. He stated they might want to think about pulling out dropping some 371 <br />topics if the focus is going to be only neighborhood associations. 372 <br /> 373 <br />Chair Grefenberg stated said it appeared there was general agreement that there were other forms 374 <br />of neighborhood involvement to be considered. Commissioner Gardella stated if it came up as 375 <br />part of a the Task Force’s discussions that was fine. 376 <br /> 377 <br />Commissioner Ramundt stated said the volunteers needed to should understand that the main 378 <br />focus was to accomplish in within that timeframe the Task Force was needed to come up with a 379 <br />definition and what neighborhood associations would look like in Roseville. Chair Grefenberg 380 <br />stated added and what city support would be available. 381 <br /> 382 <br />Commissioner Ramundt stated she believed they would attract different people when they were 383 <br />focusing on neighborhood associations rather than community engagement in the neighborhoods. 384 <br />She stated they would have people who are energized on the topic. 385 <br /> 386 <br />Chair Grefenberg stated he understood that but he wanted to keep various the description of the 387 <br />Task Force flexible enough to allow it to consider of other neighborhood alternatives to 388 <br />associations. language also. Commissioner Ramundt stated added that maybe they could say the 389 <br />primary focus could be on neighborhood associations. 390 <br /> 391 <br />Chair Grefenberg stated drew the Commission’s attention to the fact that there were two people 392 <br />in attendance who were interested in neighborhood associations and asked if they wanted to 393 <br />make comment. 394 <br /> 395 <br />Diane Hilden introduced herself as a resident at 466 Bay View Drive, stated and commented if 396 <br />the Commission they wanted to see a neighborhood in action they needed to go to McCarron’s 397 <br />Club as there were approximately 40 people from her neighborhood there. Lisa McCormick 398 <br />stated introduced herself as she was the leader of the newly-formed Twin Lakes Neighborhood 399 <br />Association; she gave her address and she lived on Weaver as Wheeler Street N in Roseville. 400 <br /> 401 <br />Hilden having just arrived, Chair Grefenberg stated advised that they were at the point right now 402 <br />to of forming a Commission task force of community volunteers plus one or two commissions 403 <br />commissioners to review examples of how other cities communities have utilized their city 404
