Becker reiterated he was not offering 145 <br />this feedback in order to limit citizen input, but rather to point out that such courses should be 146 <br />carefully designed and timed to maximize the appeal for all attendees. 147 <br /> 148 <br />Commissioner Theresa Gardella asked if there was a piece of the meetings that would discuss 149 <br />“who is Roseville” and give a general history of the city. City Manager Trudgeon stated this 150 <br />could be a part of it and they could make this as a pre-requisite before taking the other sessions. 151 <br /> 152 <br />Commissioner Michelle Manke stated they could also have suggested a session with the 153 <br />Roseville Historical Society to talk about the various houses of historical value in the city. She 154 <br />stated maybe those people would be willing to open up their homes for this also. 155 <br /> 156 <br />Commissioner Ramundt stated volunteered she thinks it would be interesting to also include 157 <br />commissioners in on the meetings Roseville U program, so it showed they had a voice in the city 158 <br />also. She also recommended the sessions be held at different locations also so they could get 159 <br />into the community throughout Roseville. She recommended they holding these sessions at 160 <br />different times also (evening, afternoon, morning, weekends) during the day. 161 <br /> 162 <br />Chair Grefenberg recommended they have a Roseville U session on community engagement and 163 <br />the role of commissions since they Commissions were considered a part of the government. He 164 <br />agreed with Commissioner Ramundt that the City commissions should be included. He stated 165 <br />said such a program could make many more people did not know what the aware of the current 166 <br />opportunities were currently to participate in the city affairs. 167 <br /> 168 <br />Commissioner Desiree Mueller responded that she stated liked favored the idea of spreading 169 <br />scheduling this out Roseville U programs throughout the year. 170 <br /> 171 <br />City Manager Trudgeon stated if they had any future topics or suggestions to let him know. 172 <br /> 173 <br />Commissioner Desiree Mueller asked if they needed to look at this in more detail.
