<br />this criterion may be recommended by the Roseville <br />Development Review Committee as follows: <br /> <br />1. Seeding of future expansion areas as shown on <br />approved plans. <br /> <br />2. Undisturbed areas containing existing viable <br />natural vegetation which can be maintained free of <br />foreign and noxious plant materials. <br /> <br />3. Areas designated as open space or future <br />expansion areas properly planted and maintained <br />with prairie grass. <br /> <br />4. Use of mulch materials such as rock or wood <br />chips in support of shrubs and foundation <br />plantings. <br /> <br />Slope and Berms <br /> <br />1. Final slope grades steeper than the ratio of <br />3:1 will not be permitted without special <br />landscaping treatment such as terracing, retaining <br />walls, or ground covers. <br /> <br />2. Berming used to provide required screening of <br />parking lots and other open areas shall have a <br />maximum slope ratio of 3:1. <br /> <br />Woodland Preservation Policy and Credit <br /> <br />1. Credit for the retention of existing trees <br />which are of acceptable species, size and location <br />may be given to satisfy the minimum number <br />requirements set forth in this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Parkinq Lot Landscaping <br /> <br />1. Parking lots of 50 or more spaces are required <br />to have 150 square feet of landscaped islands per <br />25 parking spaces. One overstory or evergreen <br />tree is required for every 150 square feet of <br />interior landscaped area. The minimum width of <br />landscape islands is 6 feet and the minimum area <br />is 150 square feet. <br /> <br />2. One ornamental, overstory or evergreen tree is <br />required for every 50 feet of parking lot <br />frontage. <br /> <br />3. Front yard setbacks shall have a screen that <br />is 80 percent opaque and a height of 2-1/2 feet. <br />The screen may be: <br />1) plant materials, <br />
