Continuing education for realtors regarding benefits of living in Roseville <br />Ongoing items that require resources or staff time <br />i. Continue Housing Resource Center services for residents, property <br />owners, and others <br />j. Continue to position the RHRA as a leader in providing education and <br />information about resources that support sustainable life styles(i.e. free <br />energy audit) <br />k. Create programs and resources that assist residents and businesses to <br />incorporate healthy building techniques <br />I. Continue to implement the recommendations of the BR&E study <br />4. Retain and attract desirable housing and businesses that leads to employment, <br />investment, and commitment to the community. <br />a. Seek a site and develop affordable, active senior housing <br />b. Build relationships with developers that will add to the quality of <br />development in Roseville <br />c. Explore the development and use of community land trust and land <br />banking to ensure affordability over time <br />d. Ensure that affordable rental housing continues to grow and meet <br />the needs of residents through partnership development, advocacy, <br />and direct involvement when appropriate <br />e. Consider the need and development of workforce housing <br />f. Explore additional/new uses of the loan program to become more <br />effective <br />g. Understand need and options to sustain manufactured homes <br />Ongoing items that require resources or staff time <br />h. Explore use of any federal, state or county funding resources for Housing <br />and Economic Development in Roseville <br />Provide financial resources to preserve and develop new housing in <br />partnership with non-profit community groups, private sector <br />development partners, and federal, state, and regional agencies <br />5.
