<br />VI. <br /> <br />Section 14.120 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />14.120. Real Estate Signs. For the purpose of selling, <br />renting, or leasing any property, a sign not in excess of 10 <br />square feet in gross surface area per side in Residence Districts <br />may be placed within the front yard or in the public street <br />right-of-way beyond the front yard. No part of the sign shall be <br />closer than six feet from the curb. If there is a sidewalk, no <br />part of the sign shall be closer than two feet from the edge of <br />the sidewalk. Only one sign is permitted per lot, except that <br />double-fronted or through lots may be permitted an additional <br />sign on the second frontage, and lots with lakeshore frontage may <br />be allowed an additional sign on the lake side of the lot at <br />least twenty-five feet back from the shore line of the lake. <br /> <br />For the purpose of selling or promoting a residential <br />property of six or more dwelling units, a two-sided sign not to <br />exceed 35 square feet per side and not more than eight feet in <br />height or a combination of a ground-mounted sign and wall-mounted <br />signs not to exceed 70 square feet, may be erected upon the site <br />not less than 15 feet from a property line. <br /> <br />In all other Districts a two-sided sign not to exceed 35 <br />square feet gross surface area per side and not more than eight <br />feet in height, or a combination of a ground-mounted sign and <br />wall-mounted signs not to exceed 70 square feet may be placed not <br />less than 15 feet from a property line. <br /> <br />Real estate signs shall be removed within seven days <br />following the lease or real estate closing. <br /> <br />VII. <br /> <br />Section l4.l40 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 14.140. Public Ways. Signs shall not be permitted <br />within the pubic right-of-way or easements except bench signs, <br />and newspaper and cab stands, all of which shall be as governed <br />by the Building Code, and real estate signs and political signs <br />as regulated in this Chapter. City, county and state traffic <br />directional signs are permitted. <br /> <br />VIII. <br /> <br />Section 14.170 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 14.170. Directional Signs. Directional signs may be <br />incorporated into a development including information such as <br />traffic directions, house numbers, management office location, or <br />other information necessary to direct persons to facilities or <br /> <br />3 <br />
