Southeastern Quarantined Counties (Fillmore, Houston, Olmsted & Winona Counties) MDA and USDA renewed a compliance agreement for a sawmill in the southeastern part of the state. Two (2) routine compliance inspections were conducted in the southeastern quarantined counties. No issues were found. A "Don't Move Firewood" billboard is along the North Shore in Two Harbors, Sept 28 -Oct 26. An Autumn Fest was held at the Scott County Fairground on Sept 13. With the recent find of EAB in Prior Lake many attendees had questions about EAB and what to look for on their trees. Topic: A Disastrous Opportunity. Discussed initiative for local and state investment for fighting EAB.
