<br />C. AGGREGATE SIGNS: Where signs are erected on <br />commercial sites where two (2) or more principal <br />buildings and/or separate uses are located on a single <br />lot, it shall be the responsibility of the owner of the <br />property to allocate the permitted aggregate gross <br />surface areas and sign location between the uses in <br />such a way as to conform with the regulations set forth <br />in this Chapter. <br /> <br />D. REAL ESTATE SIGNS: <br /> <br />1. Size and Placement. For the purpose of selling, <br />renting or leasing any property, a sign not in <br />excess of ten (10 square feet in gross surface <br />area per side in residence districts may be placed <br />within the front yard or in the public street <br />right-of-way beyond the front yard. No part of <br />the sign shall be closer than six feet (6') from <br />the curb. If there is a sidewalk, no part of the <br />sign shall be loser than two feet (2') from the <br />edge of the sidewalk. <br /> <br />2. Number of Signs. Only one sign is permitted per <br />lot, except double fronted or through lots may be <br />permitted an additional sign on the second <br />frontage and lots with lakeshore frontage may be <br />allowed an additional sign on the lake side of the <br />lot at least twenty five feet (25') back from the <br />shore line of the lake. <br /> <br />3. Mul tiple- Dwelling Units: For the purpose of <br />selling or promoting a residential property of six <br />(6) or more dwelling units, a two (2) sided sign <br />not to exceed thirty five (35) square feet per <br />side and not more than eight feet (8') in height <br />or a combination of a ground-mounted sign and <br />wall-mounted signs not to exceed seventy (70) <br />square feet may be erected upon the side not less <br />than fifteen feet (15') from a property line. <br /> <br />4. Two-Sided Signs. In all other districts, a two <br />(2) sided sign not to exceed thirty five (35) <br />square feet gross surface area per side and not <br />more than eight feet (8') in height, or a <br />combination of a ground-mounted sign and wall- <br />mounted signs not to exceed seventy (70) square <br />feet may be placed not less than fifteen feet <br />(15') from a property line. <br /> <br />4 <br />
