Proposals ccntained in this report ha�e been <br />made in accordance with such requirements. <br />Traffic Warrants: <br />Mi�nnesota Highway Department layout 8-B entitled Trunk Highway 36 in the vicinitv of the Gol- <br />den Rule Shopping Center from Fairview Avenue to 0.25 miles west of Hamline Avenue indicates <br />traffic volumes estimated for the year 1980. These estimates were prepared by the Planning and <br />Programming Division of the Minnesota Highway Department. West bound trafffc volume is 292 <br />The groposed interchange to be constructed by the Minnesota Highway Departm�nt will facilitate <br />Che movement af vehicular traffic from T. Ii. �51 which will have an average daily traffic {one <br />way} of approximately 17,500. These traffic counts are reflected on Drawing No. 2. <br />�vpieal Sections • <br />At the writing of this report the design section, as to type of surfacing, for the Minnesota <br />Highway Iiepartment section of County Road "B-2" construction has nat yet been determined, <br />� �he proposed roadway sections to be used on the Village portion of this proposed improvement <br />are based on the use of flexible pavement, or bituminous, as a surfacing type. Three separate <br />� and dis�inct typical sections ar�e involved in the Village portion o£ this construction and <br />are so dictated because of anticipated traffic volume and loadings. Typical sections are <br />� <br />shown on Drawing No. 3. �'hese typical sections reflect requirements for the raadway west of <br />`� T. H. #51 to Fairview Aveaue and east of Trunk Sighway S1 to Hamline Avenue. Also shown as <br />a part of the typicai section east of �. H. �S1 is th�e Fronta�a Road section. Z'he purpose o€ <br />,'� � the Frontage Raad is x� carr�► lacal traffic generated by the abutting residential area in a <br />� volume af l�ss than 4U0 vehicles per day of a 7-ton axle load.
