These four segments are as follows:
1. County Road "B-2" Storm Sewers from Firview Auenue to Trunk Highway 51
2. County Road "B-2" Storm Sewers from Trunk iiighway S1 to Hamline livenue
3. Frontage Road Storm Sewers fram Trunk Highway 51 to Hamline Avenue
4. District bW Trunk Storm Sewer
Qnder Item ).10. 4 above, reference is made to District 6W. This number refers to the district
numbea a designa.ted in the Master Plan for Storm Sewers for Roseville, Minnesota, prepared by
the a.ster Engineering Compny and presented to the Village Council i3ecember 18, i962.
Dra-wing No. 6 included in this report, i•. an excerpt from the Storm Sewer Master Plan and
reflects the boundaries of District 6W and abutting districts.
Design Criteria•
The design criteria for storm sewers coveed by this report is th same as that used in the
Ma.ster P1an. This plan uses a five year average frequency storm of 1.75 inches per hour.
The Rational Method of Design was used. This method takes into account the type of surface
being tdrained aad the time of concentration of the rainfall bnth i oveland surface low as
w+e11 as in the storm sewer. All design computations have been made a part of this report ani
aay 3 found in fihe Appendix.
Stort Sewer Reyuirements for County Raad "B-2" Fairview Avenue to Trunc Highwav 51:
'Drawin No. 7 indicates the locatian and sizes of storm sewer required to drain County Raad
'g-2:roays. Requirements include a 30 inch diameter pipe to intercept storffi water drainage
-lz-
