March 19, 1984
-9-
store, or portion thereof, on t}iis site wit}iout the appropriate zoning.
24) Cates - Ted Cates from D4other Tucker's Restaurant and Paul Dalilberg from
Krank and Erickson, architects, were in to discuss a.revised site plan for
the constructiun of Mother Tucker's, just north of the Victoria Station
restaurant sie. They have restudied the site plan, and propose what we
feel is a Uetter solution. T}ie building moved sliglitly iurtlier north, and
orients to the soutll instead of tle nortliwest. Tlie entrance is thus more
accessible to the parking, and t}iere will be a single driveway rather than
two. Tlie building size is reluced slightly from 9,050 sq. ft. to 9,000 sq.
ft. Tle seating remains the same, witli a couple less parking spaces. There
is, howevr, more green area tllan tivas previously approved, It appears to us
that the changes are not significant enough to reprocess the site plan to
tlle Plannirig ommission ansi Council. Tlle general rule we suggest here is
t}tat it sliould be reprocessed if the p1a.n is substantially diiierent, ii it
exploits the land further, or if it in any way represents a reciution in
quality and adversely affects any contiguous property. It would appear liere
that none of these condi.tions apply.
25) Strick - n January 4th of tlii.s
Bill iiir;cch, aranch rfanager of
racility, wer in to discuss t1
of County Road C and Long Lake
Leary on January 4th. law is
that day:
yeax, ,Jim L.ary of Coldwell Qanker and
Strick's Minneapolis/St. Paul Truck Leasing
e use oi Tempte site at he sout}iwest corner
Road.
