.
Plannin Office Hours
g
July 2, 1986

Page 2
3. Fiall, 489-1391
Reverend Hall. i a representative of a church group which
built their headquarters at the northwest corner of Garden
and Lexingtona The building is nearing completion, and they
are now dealing with the final landscape plans. Nlr. Hall
noted that two of the elms have died and have been reinoved,
ana we approved their replacement with either ash, linden, or
red maple. They have met directly with the contiguous neigh-
bors including Ullas Kamath, who lives on Ruggles Street
to the north.
They proposerl a change in the fence proposal, somewhat
- different frotn what was approved. Ve suggested. if they get
their nei.ghbor's written approval, that such adjustments
could be considered.

4. Antanossi
Bill and Dorothy Antonossi were in with Jim Perry, realtor
(780-550Q), to review possible land uses fr the Antonossi
property north of County Road C-2, at the east end of the row
of residences easterly of new Highway 8. We revieaed the
land use plan which includes this pro;perty as high density,
multi-family as requested by those rsidential owners at the
time the Comprehensive Plan was redone in 1979.
We suggested that the appropriate way to go is to get all the
neighbars to agree, and find a developer to take over the
entire project, as we explained has happened in other parts
of the City. We suggested against a l.roposal which would
develop a part of the Antonossi land but not include the
house. That simply makes the prob].em worse, making it more
difficult to redevelop all the land because riow we would have
anothen cuse on a small lot. They understood all this, and
will be talking to some of the other neighbors.
We suggested that if the time is not right for the change,
they may wish to sell to someone wYo is willing to wait. We
noted that if all the landowners were in agrement, that the
land use might be changed to offices or an institutional u.e,
which would be compatible with the apartments to the north,
and the industrial land to the south (vacant land owned by
Williams Pipeline Company).
5. Lewis, 636-2068
Robert Lewis owns two parcela of land south o Highaay 36,
between Marion Sreet nd Acrn Street. The southerly nost
parcel is a 200 by 200 foot square, which has existed as a
separate landlocked parcel for many years. This land, and
much of the land around it, was once owned by Robert's
faiher-in-law, Earl Schneider. They progose now to build a
home on the landlockd parcel.
