Plannin Officeours A ril 23, 1986
g ► P
Page 3
Mr. Janisch suggested the access to he north of the Target
sit could be moved, so a to line up with the narth/south
route on th east side of the parking area (in front of the
store). He noed, too, the need for a forty foot triangular
l.ne of sight at the corner, which could affect the design of
the northwest corner of the building. The expansion wll
occur at the north and west side of the building, near the
northwest corner.

' J
Mr. Honchell will let Mr. Russell know regarding the outcome
of the acquisition attempts. Mr. Russell then indicated
their willingness to adjust to whatever free access conditian
results.
4. McDonald, 339-5508
Robert McDonald is an architect with Arvid Elness, hired by
Mid-America Bank to take a preliminary look at potential
changes for their site at the northeast corner of Fairview
and County Road B-2. Plans presented did not indicate expan-
sion of the building, but rather reorientation of the
entrance, and expansion of the parking toward the southerly
portion of the site.
We discussed, with Charlie Honchell and Dave Janisch,
additional right-of-way needs on the south and west side of
the site. To achieve the forty-nine and one-half foot
standard on the west, an additional six and one-half feet
would be required. To achieve the forty-nine and one-half
foot standard on the southeast side of the site (next to B-2)
eight and one-half feet will be required. We noted that
these dedications, if given, would not affect the setback to
the existing parking. We noted, too, that additional parking
location would have some flexibility depending upon the
particular layout achieved. The drawing presented suggested
that these additional rights-of-way dedication would not
create a problem.
Though Mr. McDonald could not agree to the dedications, (as
an owner) he suggested they should not be that serious.
These dedications would accommodate the additional right-of-
way needed for the ike path.
Existing driveway providing egress to the drive-up lanes
appears to be thirty-four feet in width. This is built with
curb and gutter on Fairview. We suggested that could be left
at that width, and curbing could and should be added within
the property for these and other driveways to be changed.
5.
