All departmental procedures will be reviewed and <br />necessary changes and clarifications will be made. <br />Also, staff roles and responsibilities in each of the <br />procedures will be reviewed. Specific areas which will <br />be reviewed include the following: <br />1. An orientation process will be developed for new <br />departmental employees. Rick will take <br />responsibility for developing an orientati.on <br />manual whi�ch will couer basic departmental <br />operation and procedure including who is <br />responsible for what. <br />2. Plan r�eview process. Marty and Gardy will take <br />the lead in the review af this proce�s. Also, <br />Merrilee, Marty, Gorciy, and Rick wrll review the <br />p�rmit applica�i�n and building permit card itselP <br />so �hat these forins are warkable �nd f i.t the <br />process. <br />3. Planning and zoning proceeiures. Rick and Charlene <br />wi.11 revi�w these procedures. <br />4. Inspection proces�. Bob will take �he le�d in the <br />review of this process. <br />5. Complain� process. Rick and Merrilee will l�ead <br />the review of this process. <br />6�. Nlicrofilm proce�s. Gordy and Rick will work ou� a <br />schedule to comple�e the microfilming oi <br />inspectior� records. <br />b, Departr�ental staff will be holding meetings at 8:30 <br />every Tuesday to discuss each af �hese areas in detail <br />and to come u� with final procedures and roles and <br />responsibilities in eacl� of the areas. <br />• <br />� <br />� <br />
