s; . <br />: ' <br />� '' � <br />On November 10, 1986 the Energy Res�urce Center received ap�roval <br />to provide low interest loans (both deferred and installmentj for <br />energy improvements for low and moderate income homeowners in <br />Moundsview and Little Canada. $155,000 in CDBG funds were <br />allotted for this purpose. The first loan made under this <br />program was closed in April 1987. Tn July 1987 ttie ERC submitted <br />a revised proposal to amend the program to pravide for deferred <br />loans exc�usiv�ly. Additianally, the proposal r�quested that the <br />ERC be permi�t�d �o exp�nd the program to all municipali.ties in <br />sub�rban Ramsey Countys This proposal was approved effective <br />September 28, 1987. <br />To date the Energy i��source Center has committed $101,511 f�r 28 <br />loans. (The average loan amoun� is #3,629.) Of this amoun�, <br />$62,850 has been disbursed.
