Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, April 18, 2016 <br />Page 16 <br />plemented, but for the other buildings, those larger functional systems and com- <br />ponents were included, while more aesthetic things (e.g. carpets or chairs) were <br />not typically ranked. <br />Based on his reading of the draft policy language, Mayor Roe agreed that other <br />than the park buildings in the 4th bullet point ((line 45-46), there was no reference <br />to other city -owned buildings and facilities or similar parenthetical items, and <br />suggested language recognizing that. <br />City Manager Trudgeon duly noted the need to make the policy document more <br />inclusive as suggested. <br />Housing and Economic Development — Focus on SE Roseville (page 32) <br />City Manager Trudgeon referenced page 33, and the draft outline for a proposed <br />concept for focus group meetings to engage the broader community. Mr. Trudg- <br />eon noted that potential stakeholders had been initially reviewed by staff, but had <br />yet to be vetted by the City Council, and once sorted out .would be presented for <br />formal action to the City Council. <br />On page 33, Councilmember Etten suggested including staff from other commu- <br />nities bordering the area (e.g. Maplewood). <br />Mayor Roe noted they were included in the working group list on page 33. <br />Housing and Economic Development — Focus on SE Roseville (page 34) <br />City Manager Trudgeon reviewed those items listed. <br />Housing and Economic Development- Foster Twin Lake Redevelopment (page <br />35 <br />City Manager Trudgeon reviewed those items listed. <br />Housing and Economic Development — Create Move -Up Housing Opportunities <br />(page 36 <br />City Manager Trudgeon advised that staff had been reviewing previous housing <br />studies, and in May intended to have more discussion with the City Council on <br />housing initiatives. <br />Housing and Economic Development — Increase Residential Housing Values <br />(page 37 <br />City Manager Trudgeon reviewed those items listed, reiterating that additional <br />discussion with the City Council was scheduled for May. <br />Housing and Economic Development — Facilitate City-wide Economic Develop- <br />ment page 38) <br />
