Many <br />people do not vote due to the fact that they are not regisiered and have to take extra measuras in <br />order to vote, which can be cumbersome in their busy lives. Hez�ce, allowing same-day voter <br />registration could increase voting as this change would offer convenience to vaters. <br />The right to vote is powerfiil �nd all eligible people should co:mmit to and exercise it <br />because voting allows us to have a voice in ck�aosing the type of govarnznent we want and in <br />deciding how issues are de�lt witl�. �Iovvever, many citizens do not vote because they believe that <br />true democracy is not implemeilted by electing government officials who have the #"znal authority <br />in cultivating the state or federal constitution. Making every citizen's vote become the sole <br />determinant of elections and allowing same-day vater registration nationwide are tr-vo possible <br />ways to proznote voting. After all, these two strategies would enable every single eligible voter to <br />execute autonomy and abtain auihoritatave power to directly affect tk�e outcome of elections. <br />
