Communication Items <br /> 56 Assistant Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer and City Engineer Luke <br /> 57 Sandstrom provided additional comments and a brief review and update on <br /> 58 projects and maintenance activities listed in the staff report dated April 26, 2016. <br /> 59 <br /> 60 Discussion included: <br /> 61 Member Wozniak noted approval by the City Council at their meeting last night <br /> 62 of a grant for Langton Lake. Member Wozniak expressed his interest in <br /> 63 additional information on other aspects happening in the city that may be of <br /> 64 interest to the PWETC and asked staff to provide that information to the PWETC <br /> 65 in future reports. <br /> 66 <br /> 67 Chair Cihacek agreed, noting the PWETC's interest in areas of significant <br /> 68 development in the near future. <br /> 69 <br /> 70 Member Lenz also agreed, expressing interest in the recent Brownfields work and <br /> 71 future plans, as well as mitigation of water quality issues and concerns. <br /> 72 <br /> 73 These requests were duly noted by Mr. Freihammer. <br /> 74 <br /> 75 Twin Lakes Parkway Extension/Additional Area Planning Considerations <br /> 76 Further discussion included details of the Twin Lakes Parkway extension as a <br /> 77 2016 project currently underway, and proposed Twin Lakes Area East Collector <br /> 78 Improvement Project being studied with preliminary designs in process as <br /> 79 authorized by the City Council earlier this month, and intended as an alternate <br /> Page 2 of 17 <br />
