<br />Attachment A <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENTBETWEEN <br />1 <br />RAMSEY COUNTY AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />2 <br />FOR ELECTION SERVICES <br />3 <br />2017-2020 <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br />This is an amendment to the original agreement for the period January 1, 2013 <br />6 <br />through December 31, 2016 between the County of Ramsey, through the <br />7 <br />Ramsey County Elections Office, 90 West Plato Boulevard, St. Paul, MN <br />8 <br /> and the City of Roseville, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, MN for <br />9 <br />the provision of election services by the County . <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br />1. Term <br />12 <br />This Amendment to the original Agreement will be in effect for the four- <br />13 <br />year period from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2020 Additional <br />14 <br />, unless earlier terminated pursuant to the provisions of this <br />15 <br />Agreement. <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br />6. Voting System <br />18 <br />The cost of acquiring and operating the voting system is not included in <br />19 <br />the original Agreement and is the subject of a separate joint powers <br />20 <br />agreement between the County and the City <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br />7. Special Elections <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br />7.3 The City will pay all costs applicable to the City of any presidential <br />25 <br />primary in 2020 authorized by the legislature. The County will <br />26 <br />submit an invoice payable within 30 days of receipt to the City for <br />27 <br />the costs incurred by the County to conduct a presidential primary. <br />28 <br />The County will provide the City with an estimate of the costs of <br />29 <br />conducting a presidential primary by July 1, 2019. <br />30 <br /> <br />31 <br />11. Election Costs and Payments <br />32 <br /> <br />33 <br />11.1 Regular Elections <br />34 <br />Payments to cover the costs incurred by the County in the <br />35 <br />performance of the provisions of this Agreement for regularly <br />36 <br />scheduled elections will be made by the City in eight equal <br />37 <br />quarterly amounts for each two-year budget period, for a total of 16 <br />38 <br />quarterly payments during the Initial Term of the Agreement, based <br />39 <br />on invoices submitted by the County. Payments will be due on <br />40 <br />March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 of each year. <br />41 <br /> <br />42 <br />The cost of election services for Regular Elections for the 2017- <br />43 <br />2018 calendar years will be $132,464. <br />44 <br /> <br />45 <br /> <br />46 <br /> <br />47 <br /> <br />48 <br />Agreement for Election Services with Roseville January 1, 2017-December 31, 2020 <br /> 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
