3052 Hot ashes, cinders, smoldering coals or greasy or oily materials subject to <br />spontaneous ignition shall not be deposited in a combustible receptacle, within 10 feet <br />(3048 mm) of other combustible material including combustible walls and partitions or <br />within 2 feet (610 mm) of openings to buildings. <br />705.3.2 Incidental use areas in Groups A, B, E, F, H, M and S occupancies need not be <br />separated when the incidental use area is protected with automatic sprinklers. <br />3404.3.4.4 Provide approved flammable liquid storage cabinet. <br />510.1 Fire protection equipment shall be identified in an approved manner. Rooms <br />containing controls for air- conditioning systems, sprinkler risers and valves, or other fire <br />detection, suppression or control elements shall be identified for the use of the fire <br />department. Approved signs required to identify fire protection equipment and equipment <br />location, shall be constructed of durable materials, permanently installed and readily <br />visible. <br />315.2.3 Remove and discontinue the storage of combustible materials in boiler rooms <br />that do not comply with section 315.2.3.1 <br />603.9 Above-ground gas meters, regulators and piping subject to damage shall be <br />protected by a barrier complying with Section 312 or otherwise protected in an approved <br />manner. <br />603.5.1 Provide permanent guards for the combustion chamber of the heating appliance <br />so as to prevent accidental contact by persons or materials. <br />903.3 Provide a sprinkler head box including spare sprinkler heads of the type used and <br />a wrench. The box must be located and maintained near the main sprinkler riser. (See <br />applicable installation standard.) <br />903.4 All valves controlling the water supply for automatic sprinkler systems and water- <br />flow switches on all sprinkler systems serving 20 or more sprinklers shall be electrically <br />supervised. For existing sprinkler systems, monitoring is required when the number of <br />sprinklers is 100 or more. <br />907.4 Manual fire alarm boxes shall be installed in accardance with Sections 907.4.1 <br />through 907.4.5. <br />605.5 Remove extension cords that are being used as a substitute for permanent wiring. <br />1027.5.1 The means of egress shall be illuminated at all times the building space served <br />by the means of egress is occupied. Natural lighting in the interior rooms or spaces can be <br />used to satisfy this requirement during periods of daylight. <br />704.2 When openings are required to be protected, opening protectives shall be <br />maintained self-closing or automatio-closing by smoke detection. Existing fusible-link <br />Type automatic door-closing devices are permitted if the fusible link rating does not <br />exceed 135°F (57°C). <br />315.2 Maintain arderly storage of combustible materials. <br />605.6 Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved <br />covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. <br />
