Using participatory design strategies <br />- ones that truly engage stakeholders - LHB helps a community frame a vision of its future, one <br />that is shared among the many diverse interests of the community, and one that encourages a <br />community to forge a new common language as they move forward. This process, which focuses <br />on exploration and discovery, helps communities better understand themselves, the issues <br />they face, and the opportunities that lie ahead. It creates compelling yet appropriate solutions <br />to tough problems and allows for a more strategic approach to implementation based on the <br />communityÕs unique resources.
