A Proposal for the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of Roseville <br />Addison Lewis (WSB) <br />Community Planner <br /> Bachelor of of Arts in Urban Studies, University of Minnesota, 2012 <br />Education: <br />Addison is a community planner at WSB and currently serves as the City Planner for the City <br />of Long Lake and provides assistance to WSBÕs other municipal planning clients. He has a <br />variety of experience with community engagement and listening to stakeholder concerns. <br />In addition to contributing to the community engagement processes associated with other <br />small area plans and comprehensive plans completed by WSB, Addison works closely with <br />the rest of the planning team on data collection, research, and plan writing. His experience <br />with working on municipal planning projects and interpreting zoning and land use ordinances <br />has provided him with a unique perspective on the necessity of preparing realistic and <br /> orts on this project. <br />Community Planner <br />As a planner with WSB, Addison serves as the primary City Planner for the City of Long Lake. Addison is responsible <br />for handling all zoning inquiries, land use applications, ordinance amendments, building permit review, and code <br />enforcement among other duties. Addison also provides assistance in Mahtomedi, St. Anthony Village, Tonka Bay, Albert <br />Lea, Falcon Heights and Denmark Township. <br />Comprehensive/Small Area Plan Experience <br />Addison has contributed to numerous plans that have been developed by WSB, including the North Mankato <br />Comprehensive Plan, the Nicollet Island-East Bank Neighborhood Small Area Plan (Minneapolis), and the Sheridan <br />Neighborhood Small Area Plan (Minneapolis). Addison assisted with plan writing, project management duties, and <br /> orts including open houses, stakeholder meetings, surveys, and attending events in the <br />community to gather input. <br />Communications and Community Engagement Specialist <br />Partnering with the Transportation and Construction Services Groups at WSB, Addison has served as a communications <br />liaison between property stakeholders and the city/project management team for several road construction/design projects. <br />Throughout these projects, Addison met with individual property owners, property managers, and other stakeholders <br />for coordination purposes and to update those individuals on various stages of the project. Addison also developed <br />community engagement materials such as mailings, informational handouts, and website content, which helped to deliver <br />a clear and consistent message throughout the project. Addison served in this role for the France Avenue intersection <br />improvements project in the City of Edina in the summer of 2014, for the 105th Avenue NE preliminary and Þ nal design <br />project in the City of Blaine in the winter of 2014/2015, and the Douglas Drive reconstruction project in the summer of 2016. <br />Code Enforcement and CUP Compliance <br /> ce hours. <br />Addison handles all complaints related to zoning ordinance violations and is responsible for conducting all inspections <br /> cult code enforcement issues, Addison has <br />developed strong communication and mediation skills that get results and resolve code violations in a timely manner. <br />11 <br /> <br />
