A Proposal for the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of Roseville <br />Other Planning Elements <br />Thrive 2040 Outcomes <br />Throughout the planning process, the WSB team will use the Þ ve primary regional planning outcomes as lenses for <br />updating goals and policies. Questions that will be asked as we develop goals and policies include: <br />Stewardship <br />Does the goal/policy responsibly manage natural and <br />Þ nancial resources? Is this a strategic investment in the <br />CityÕs future? <br />Prosperity <br />Does the goal/policy create investment in infrastructure <br />and amenities that fosters economic competitiveness? <br />Are we providing great places for businesses to <br />succeed? <br />Equity <br />Does the goal/policy connect all residents to <br />opportunity? Does the goal/policy create viable housing, <br />transportation and recreation options for people of all <br />races, ethnicities, incomes and abilities? <br />Livability <br />Does this goal/policy create vibrant places, renew <br />underlying infrastructure, investment in parks or <br /> ordable housing? Are we providing housing and <br />transportation choices that attract and retain a talented <br />workforce? <br />Sustainability <br />Does this goal/policy protect the CityÕs vitality for <br />generations to come? Are we considering climate <br />change mitigation and adaptation with this policy? <br />Public Safety <br />As with the outcomes from Thrive 2040, the WSB team will incorporate public safety as a lensŽ throughout the process. <br /> cers to <br /> cers and Police Department heads <br />will be integrated into the engagement process via a Public Safety focus group.
