Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, January 09, 2017 <br />Page 13 <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, reappointment of Councilmeinber Laliberte <br />to serve as the City of Roseville representative to the Ramsey County League of <br />Local Governments for 2017; with no alternate appointed to this group. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />With the withdrawal of Councilmember Willmus and volunteering of Coun- <br />cihneinber McGehee to serve with Councilmember Laliberte expressing her on- <br />going interest in serving in this capacity, Wilhnus moved, Etten seconded, ap- <br />pointment of Councilineinbers Laliberte and McGehee to serve on the City Man- <br />ager Performance Review City Council Subcommittee for 2017. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />Mayor Roe noted the remaining liaison roles were provided for information pur- <br />poses only; and aslced staff to remove the "Regional Council of Mayors" and <br />Minnesota Mayors Association" froin future iterations of the list; as well as add- <br />ing the "Metro Cities Board of Directors" on which Councilmember Laliberte <br />serves on their Board of Directors. <br />15. Business Items — Presentations/Discussions <br />a. Council Meeting Efficiency <br />City Manager Trudgeon noted the information contained in the RCA and suggest- <br />ed review by the City Council of each category in detail as listed to provide direc- <br />tion to staff and inform the City Council's Rules of Procedures update. <br />Minutes <br />Councilmember McGehee stated her strong support for staff's suggestion in the <br />RCA, noting the tiine delays in receipt and review of the ininutes, especially when <br />ineetings are back to back during a inonth. Councilmember McGehee suggested <br />this would provide a more reasonable deadline to meet, with approval then possi- <br />ble on the Consent Agenda within the two-week period. <br />Councilmember Etten agreed to some delay, given the nuance of a meeting held <br />back-to-back.
