Motion <br />19passed unanimously. <br />20 <br />21 <br />CEDARHOLM GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />224. <br />23Brokke introducedrepresentatives fromHagan,Christensen&McIlwain(HCM). The City of Roseville <br />24previously utilized HCM to develop the concept plans for the newpark buildings duringthe renewal <br />25program.Brokke reiterated that community and Commissioner input is highly encouragedduring the <br />26Cedarholm design process. <br />27 <br />28TimMcIlwainand Dan Lawrencewith HCM introducedthemselvesto the Commission.After reviewing <br />29the Cedarholm Advisory Team Final Report HCM has created a site diagram, whichconsists of general <br />30opportunities and goals for the Cedarholm Design Project.The site diagram isthe first stepto developing <br />31space programs, square footagenumbers and concept plans. <br />32 <br />33McIlwain presentedtheSite, Building and Operational Goalslisted on the HCM Site Opportunities Study <br />34dated February 1, 2017: <br />35 <br />36Site Goals <br />37Provide safer and better circulation in the parking area for cars and deliveries <br />38Expand and improve parking <br />39Improve public visibility of the facility through building location and signage <br />40Improve the entry sequence to the building <br />41Provide a larger entry staging area for golfers <br />42Maximize the use of the site buildable area <br />st <br />43Improve the configuration andflow of the Clubhouse, putting green and 1tee <br />44Building siting/location to enhance views of the course <br />45 <br />46Building Goals <br />47Create a facility that supports golf operations but is multi-purpose and flexible for other uses such as: <br />48-Rentals for family, social or business events <br />49-Community Gathering Space <br />50-Presentations and events <br />51The critical operational and functional goal is to provide golf space to the golfers. However, <br />52it is also importantto ensure that a flexible space is created. <br />53Consider additional building "tenants" such as the Historical Society <br /> <br />
