March 29, 2017 <br />Item 5.C <br />Community Dialogues <br />Background <br />The Imagine Roseville community conversations planning group has met several times to plan <br />the next steps. The committee is planning a two-part program for late April or early May. Plans <br />for the first session include having an immigration attorney, a historian to provide a historical <br />perspective on immigration, and a member of the faith community. The presenters will provide <br />brief statements and then respond to questions. <br />At the second meeting, participants will consider ideas that the city could take in response to <br />immigration policies and the impact policies may have on the human rights of Roseville’s <br />residents and visitors. <br />Chair Wayne Groff and Commissioner Molli Slade are on the planning committee. <br />Dates for the program have not beenset. <br /> <br />
