Consider Pollinator Friendly City Resolution Proposal <br />5. <br />Commission Chair Gelbach has been interested in and has done research on the topic of <br />pollinator friendly communities. <br />At your April meeting, Gelbachpresented a draft Roseville Pollinator Resolution, requested <br />your input and suggested that you review it again prior to theMay meeting. It would then be <br />put back on your May agenda for your final consideration. The additionthat was suggested <br />at the April meeting is in red. <br />Gelbach would like to propose a resolutionto the City Council at your joint meeting onJune <br />19.Attached is theupdated draft for your consideration. <br />Requested Commission Action: <br />Discuss and consider a recommendation <br />Cedarholm Community BuildingReplacement Update <br />6. <br />On April 10, 2017,the City Council authorized anagreement with Hagen, Christensen and <br />McIlwain (HCM) Architects for further design development services and plans and <br />specificationsfor the Cedarholm Community Building,subject to City Councilcheck in. <br />On April 24, 2017,staff and HCM were at the City Council meeting to check in and present <br />the most updated siteplan, building floor plan and building image plans#1, #2A and #2B. <br />Included in your packet is the plan set. <br />At your meeting, staff will be prepared to review the plan set, provide you with the latest <br />information and gather additional input from you at your meeting. <br />This topic is a regular agenda item each month in order to keep the Commission updated, <br />allow for continued community input, and to gather advice. <br />Requested Commission Action:Review, update, provide feedback. <br />Discuss and prepare for joint meeting with the City Council <br />7. <br />When your annual calendar was set late last year, it was undetermined exactly when your <br />June joint meeting with the City Councilwould be.It has now been set for Monday, June <br />19, 2017. Please check your calendars and save the date. <br />Included in your packet is a typical format of a draft report to the City Council with general <br />topics of discussion for your review.
