Meeting number fiveis on Thursday, June 9, 2016. All meetings are open to the public and <br />doinclude a public comment portion for those interested in adding input. Attached is a draft <br />agenda for that meeting. As of this writing the meeting had not occurred. <br />Commissioner representatives Gelbach and Stoner along with staff will provide any further <br />updatesat the meeting and seek any guidance. <br />To follow the progress, please visit the city website atwww.cityofroseville.com/golf <br />. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />:Review, discuss progress and provide guidance <br />Staff Report – <br />7.a brief summary will be providedon the following topics. <br />a.Introduction of Asset Management Program–included in your packet is a draft <br />outline of a City AssetManagement Program and of Parks and Recreation <br />related assetcategories and parameters. This has been shared with the City <br />Council and is considered work in progress that will occur throughout the year. <br />Staff will plan to provide a brief description of this program to you at the meeting. <br />This item will be brought back at a later date for further discussion and input. <br />b.Urban Pollinationefforts–at yourMay meeting, Commissioner Gelbach <br />indicated that he attended the Ramsey Conservation District Urban Pollinators <br />gathering where it was encouraged to plant more pollinator gardens in parks. <br />Following are some example of what Roseville is doing to contribute to this effort: <br />i.The most recent development of the fruit orchard at the Muriel Sahlin <br />Arboretum (site plan included) <br />ii.Bee Box Nests that werebuilt as part of a volunteer effort that will be <br />placed in the parks(photo included) <br />iii.The Natural Resource Restoration Program which, amongst other goals, <br />has that of providing natural areas to provide suchopportunities within <br />every park(spreadsheet of projects included) <br />Other <br />8. <br />Adjournment <br />9. <br /> <br />
