Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, September 25, 2017 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Rice Street/Larpenteur Avenue visioning; expressing his hope that the relation- <br /> ship would continue. <br /> Mayor Roe concurred that the process had benefited from the SPACC's early in- <br /> volvement and facilitation. <br /> Ms. Kyle expressed her personal and the SPACC's interest in continuing to work <br /> with the City Council and Community Development staff toward those goals. <br /> b. Public Hearing to Approve/Deny an On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating Liq- <br /> uor License for Crave Hospitality Roseville, LLC, d/b/a Crave, located at <br /> 1595 Highway 36, Suite 1025 <br /> Finance Director Chris Miller briefly summarized these requested licenses for this <br /> restaurant, locating in currently-vacant space at Rosedale Center; recommending <br /> approval as detailed in the Request for Council Action (RCA) of today's date. <br /> There was no representative of the prospective licensee present at the meeting. <br /> Mayor Roe opened and closed the public hearing at approximately 6:16 p.m.; with <br /> no one appearing for or against. <br /> Laliberte moved, McGehee seconded, approval of an On-Sale and Sunday Intoxi- <br /> cating Liquor License for Crave Hospitality Roseville, LLC, d/b/a Crave, located <br /> at 1595 Highway 36, Suite 1025. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> C. Appoint Member to a Vacancy on the Human Rights, Inclusion and En- <br /> gagement Commission (HRIEC) <br /> As detailed in the RCA, Mayor Roe noted that two candidates had applied for the <br /> one vacancy on this advisory commission. <br /> Willmus moved, McGehee seconded, approved the appointment of James Rey- <br /> erson to the HRIEC for a term ending March 31, 2019. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> d. Adopt a Preliminary 2018 Tax Levy and Budget <br /> Mayor Roe introduced this step in the 2018 budget process and recognized Fi- <br /> nance Director Chris Miller for an update and summary of the specifics for adop- <br /> tion of a preliminary 2018 tax levy and budget as detailed in the RCA and at- <br /> tachments. <br />
