Linder - agrees with Vanous but still for 300', reflecting neighbors' opinions. Don't change if <br />there is no problem. Poor enforcement, better signage are concerns. <br />Wolfangle - favors 150' based on sheriff input. Ask city to contribute $ for increased patrol. <br />Old marina area is popular for fishing - should discourage fast boats/slalom there. Education, <br />signage at launch are needs. <br />Wood - agrees with Gramer; favors 150', city contribution of $ for enforcement, user <br />edueation. Lake association can help edueate. <br />Prok - supports Shoreview ord; enforcement should be better. 300' not enforced so ttaffic <br />won't change. Need special consideration of S�T end (narrow, shallow). Supports education, <br />signage. <br />Stark - the 150' ordinance would promote safety; but concerned because panelists stated that <br />changing to 150' would negatively impaet the environrnent. LOTF should make additional <br />recommendations to the council. Be careful to restrict ordinance change to Owasso. <br />Members should keep an open mind at the 1i29 meeting (GW�. <br />4. Other business. <br />LOTF needs to think about ho�v to interact with Shorevie�v. allianees with Shoreview (e.g. <br />v.ia the lake association) would increase our influen�e and power to do good. The lake asso�iation <br />could expands its eoverage of issues beyond weeds and geese (DA). <br />Next meeting is Tuesday Jan. 14, 1997 at eity hall, for further planning and a"dry run" for <br />1 /29. <br />5.
