He believed <br />90 this would show the true value to Roseville residents. <br />91 <br />92 Member Wozniak asked if Eureka would support the app. <br />93 <br />94 Mr. Johnson anticipated that Eureka would benefit from the app due to the <br />95 streamlined information. <br />96 <br />97 Mr. Culver commented on Eureka's goals and missions to move towards zero waste <br />98 and anticipated the app would assist them with reaching this goal. <br />99 <br />100 Mr. Wozniak inquired if the app could be used in different languages. <br />101 <br />102 Mr. Johnson reported the app would have translation options. <br />103 <br />104 Chair Cihacek supported the app and wanted to see Eureka on board with this <br />105 initiative. He stated he was suspicious of the free offer from the vendor and <br />106 explained he would like to review the contract further. He questioned if recycling <br />107 efforts would really be increased due to an app but generally he stated he supported <br />108 the idea <br />109 <br />110 Mr. Culver suggested Eureka address the app when they come before the group in <br />111 January. He anticipated the app would move forward on a year to year contract. <br />112 He stated staff could present this information again in January for further comment <br />113 and consideration. <br />114 <br />115 Member Wozniak requested staff consider what other options were available to <br />116 provide residents with alerts for recycling and shredding events. He stated he was <br />117 not convinced the City needed to pursue an app to provide these notifications. <br />118 <br />119 Mr. Culver explained this would be addressed further in January. <br />120 <br />121 6. Transportation Plan Update <br />122 Mr. Freihammer stated staff had a final draft of the Transportation Plan for the <br />123 Commission to consider.
