Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,December 11, 2017 <br /> Page 6 <br /> Willmus moved, Etten seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11475 (Attach- <br /> ment CO entitled, "Resolution Adopting the Final 2018 Annual Budget for <br /> the City of Roseville;" setting the 2018 city budget at $54,239,230, represent- <br /> ing$30,443,715 in property tax--supported programs. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Mayor Roe noted his preference as had been requested in 2015, to include Sched- <br /> ules A through E as attachments to the budget to serve as supplemental infor- <br /> mation when the annual budget document is published. Mayor Roe noted that this <br /> provided the public with a transparent fund-by-fund revenue and expense break- <br /> down for tax-supported and non-tax-supported functions, as Well as overall and <br /> detailed information by function as well. <br /> Roe moved, Willmus seconded, directing staff to include Schedules A <br /> through E as part of the annual published budget document for 2018 and go- <br /> ing forward. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> b. Adopt the 2018 Final Economic Development Authority Tax Levy <br /> Community Development Director Kari Collins summarized the proposed Eco- <br /> nomic Development Authority (EDA) budget for 2018, as detailed in the RCA. <br /> Ms. Collins noted that the 2018 EDA levy of$360,150 represented a net reduc- <br /> tion for taxpayers based on property valuation assumptions for median valued <br /> homes, as outlined in the RCA. <br /> At the request of Councilmember Willmus, Ms. Collins clarif ed that the request- <br /> ed annual funds are specifically for operations, with no addition to reserves re- <br /> quested. <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment at this time, with no one <br /> appearing for or against. <br /> Laliberte mowed, Willmus seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11476 '(At- <br /> tachment A) entitled, ""A Resolution Approving a Special Property Tax <br /> Levy, for the Benefit of the Roseville Economic Development Authority, on <br /> Real Estate to the Ramsey County Auditor for the Fiscal Year of 2018;" as <br /> presented in amount of$360,150. <br />
