Consider Amending City Code, Chapter 208 (Finance Commission) <br /> Finance Director Miller reviewed the three areas for revision as recommended by <br /> the Finance Commission for their scope, duties and functions as detailed in the <br /> RCA, lines 22--27. Mr. Miller noted that Item F was a refinement of current lan- <br /> guage, with Items G and H additional duties or functions. <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment, with no one appearing for <br /> or against. <br /> Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1538 (Attach- <br /> ment A) entitled, "An Ordinance Amending Title Two, Chapter 208"" as present- <br /> ed. <br /> Specific to Councilmember McGehee's written comments, Mayor Roe indicated <br /> that she felt the current language as written in new Item G was too broad, and <br /> continued to prefer changes as expressed at previous meetings. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Willmus moved, Laliberte seconded, enactment of Ordinance Summary No. 1538 <br /> (Attachment B) entitled, "A Summary of an Ordinance Amending Title Two, <br /> Chapter 208;" as presented.. <br /> Roll Call(Super Majority) <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> g, Consider Adoption of Roseville's 2018 Legislative Priorities <br /> City Manager Trudgeon reviewed the RCA and specifically Attachment A which <br /> was revised since its last presentation to the City Council and inclusive of com- <br /> ments addressed at that time. Mr. Trudgeon sought additional direction for staff <br /> to move forward using Attachment A categories and narratives as a base. Mr. <br /> Trudgeon noted that some areas of specific legislation are already under consider- <br /> ation for which the City of Roseville may want to provide support; while others <br /> need more work.
