Motion passed unanimously. <br />19 <br />PARK DEDICATION –JC PENNEY OUTLOT <br />204) <br />21Staff provided an overview of the proposed JC Penney outlot subdivision of 1.285 acres for a <br />22Portillo’s Restaurant. This project would qualify for Park Dedication. The amounts would be <br />23.06 acres of land or $79,596. <br />24 <br />25The Commission discussed the potential for land or cash. <br />26 <br />27Commissioner Bole moved to recommend the cash in lieu of land for the Portillo’s Park <br />28Dedication amount. Heikkila seconds. Motion passed unanimously. <br />29 <br />MASTER PLAN/COMPREHENSIVE PLAN CHAPTER REVIEW <br />305) <br />31Staff introduced the 2040Comprehensive Plan Chapter Review.Itwas relayed that typo <br />32errors would be addressed in the redline draft. <br />33 <br />34Vice-Chair O’Brien questioned why the languagein Policy7.7 is “potential to add”.She <br />35stated that she believesthis statement should be included for both Policies2.2 and 7.7. Chair <br />36Gelbach concurred. <br />37 <br />38Commissioner Warzecha suggested thatPolicy2.2 be changed from “equally” to <br />39 <br />“equitably”. The newpolicywouldread: 2.2 Orientparksand programs equallyequitablyto <br />40youth activities\[…\]. The Commission discussed the potential wording change. <br />41 <br />42Commissioner Warzecha moved to recommend the Comprehensive Plan Chapterwith the <br />43 <br />amendment of2.2.
