Regular City Council Meeting
Monday, October 15,2018
Page 15
Councilmember McGehee stated she would not fight for this because it appears if
there would be a singular event at the golf course, liquor is allowed. This seems
fine to her and she did not see any need for them, as a City, to be selling liquor on
an everyday basis at a sports facility.
Councilmember Laliberte stated as a member of the original task force that
worked with community members on that building, the goal of the people serving
on that committee was for it to be more of a golf clubhouse, to be a community
building where anybody could walk down and have a burger, beer, or glass of
wine. Discuss the creation of provisions addressing the subdivision of large lots
Mayor Roe wondered if the Council should discuss this item further.
City Planner Thomas Paschke stated this item was brought back to the Council for
further discussion at Councilmember McGehee's request.
Mr. Paschke briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the RCA and related at-
tachments dated October 15, 2018.
Councilmember McGehee stated she followed the lot study and there are some ar-
eas within the City that have small houses on big lots, some with big houses on
small lots, etc. Partly, the lot size is a foundational characteristic of some of the
