He thought it was the TIF paragraph that <br /> staff might want to fix. <br /> Councilmember McGehee stated on page 6 of the same chapter, there is an addi- <br /> tion "examining recent construction information. There has been little in the way <br /> of new affordable housing build since 2006." She thought the period noted is a <br /> period of recession when there was really not much going on at all anywhere—let <br /> alone in Roseville. She thought that should be acknowledged. <br /> Mayor Roe thought that made sense. <br /> Councilmember Etten stated on page 35 in the Housing section, second item from <br /> the top, "Fair Housing Policy,"he wanted to make sure staff updated the language <br /> because that was just discussed with the Council. <br /> Councilmember McGehee stated on the bottom of page 15 in Chapter 8, under <br /> Strategies, the City does not say anything about disabilities. She thought the City <br /> should address that issue, particularly in regard to recreation programs. <br /> Mayor Roe thought that section referenced people of all abilities. <br /> Ms. Purdue stated that was the intention. <br /> Councilmember McGehee stated that is the intention but then what is spelled out <br /> includes all but the disabled. She thought the reference "people of all abilities" is <br /> not the same as doing something for people with disabilities. <br /> Councilmember McGehee stated on page 17 of chapter 8, there is no information <br /> on connectivity of pathways from areas of habitat, one to another, which is a very <br /> big environmental and ecological issue. She did not know how to include that. <br /> To preserve connectivity whenever possible between the habitats, natural corri- <br /> dors in the community. She would like to see some acknowledgement of the City <br /> paying attention to natural wildlife corridors. <br /> Mayor Roe thought that could be looked at as either part of or an additional bullet <br /> item in the Natural Resources Management area of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Councilmember Etten stated on the map on page 3, the addition of Langton Lake <br /> is on the other side of the lake, so the star should go on the west side of the lake. <br /> Councilmember Willmus thought the star located the park area. <br /> Councilmember Etten stated several of the maps in the Comprehensive Plan are <br /> from the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update from 2010.
