Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,December 3,2018 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Mayor Roe thanked Ms. Morton for her concern and indicated the Council will be dis- <br /> cussing this later in the meeting during the Comprehensive Plan discussion. <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, and Communications <br /> Mayor Roe asked Councilmember McGehee to come forward for a presentation. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon thanked Councilmember McGehee for her years of service and <br /> recognition of the service she had done. He stated Councilmember McGehee has been <br /> involved in City issues since she moved to Roseville. He stated he started with the City <br /> in 2007 and Councilmember McGehee was one of the first residents he met. He learned <br /> very quickly that there is probably no one more passionate about the environment, the <br /> neighborhood, and the Community. He noted he has learned a lot from Councilmember <br /> McGehee over the years. Councilmember McGehee put a lot of hours into research, talk- <br /> ing to residents and staff and the rare time that she did not know a particular issue she <br /> spent all day and weeks finding the answers and researching the issue. He stated he ap- <br /> preciated his discussions with Councilmember McGehee. He stated Councilmember <br /> McGehee made a positive impact on the City and residents' lives. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon stated on a personal note, he thanked Councilmember McGehee <br /> for all of the support she has given him and the rest of the staff. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon presented Councilmember McGehee a plaque of appreciation for <br /> her service to the City as a City Council Member. <br /> Mayor Roe stated on behalf of the community and City Council, how much Coun- <br /> cilmember McGehee's service has been appreciated. He stated Councilmember McGe- <br /> hee's service to the community has been multi-dimensional. He noted the community is <br /> a better place because of Councilmember McGehee's service. He thanked her and pre- <br /> sented her with a rose. <br /> Councilmember McGehee thanked the community for their support, stating the staff in <br /> particular has been helpful because the job she has done in the City has been important to <br /> her and she has taken it very seriously. She stated she has disagreed vigorously and sup- <br /> ported strongly many things. She stated she was looking forward to a break where she <br /> did not have this busy schedule. She stated this will allow her to focus on some personal <br /> items. She stated she did run for Mayor against Mayor Roe but felt Mayor Roe is a very <br /> good Mayor and has done a good job. She thought the City was in good hands with new <br /> Councilmember Wayne Groff. <br /> Recess <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 6:16 p.m., and reconvened at approx- <br /> imately 6:17 p.m. <br />
