Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,January 7,2019 <br /> Page 3 <br /> idents, all of the things that are done as a community, and certainly as a City Government <br /> on the residents' behalf He thought those were the items the Council needed to focus on. <br /> 2. Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:17 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon and <br /> City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> Recess <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 6:17 p.m., and reconvened at approximately <br /> 6:25 p.m. <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, approval of the agenda as presented. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak. <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, and Communications <br /> Mayor Roe noted that former Councilmember Barb Mastel passed away last week. She <br /> had served on the City Council for two terms, eight years in the 1990s, and was a very in- <br /> strumental part of the City Council decision making at that time. He stated the City was <br /> sad in the loss to the community and joined folks in mourning and remembering Barbara <br /> and her life and service to the community. He asked the community to keep her family <br /> and friends in thoughts and prayers. <br /> Mayor Roe read the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Proclamation. <br /> Laliberte moved, Etten seconded, to approve the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Proclama- <br /> tion. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Mayor Roe read the Human Trafficking Proclamation. <br /> Groff moved, Etten seconded, to approve the Human Trafficking Proclamation. <br />
