41 Commissioner Newby proposed suggesting taking the cash in lieu of land in the amount of <br />42 $16,000 to the City Council. Commissioner Hoag seconded. Vote was 6-2 withGelbach, <br />43 Hoag, Newby, O’Brien, Stoner and Warzecha voting in favor and Heikkila and Baggenstoss <br />44 voting nay; motion passed. <br />45 <br />46 Commissioner Stoner requested a list of options that could be supported by Parks and <br />47 Recreation in conjunction with Hand in Hand Montessori School on the anticipated green <br />48 space located at 211 McCarron’s Blvd. North. Staff responded that a modified soccer field, a <br />49 tee-ball diamond or a play lot could potentially be a viable use of the open space. However, it <br />50 would be the city’s practice to involve the community in those decisions. <br />51 <br />52 Commissioner Stoner proposed a motion to explore a cooperative agreement with Hand in <br />53 Hand similar to the one the city currently has with Concordia Academy School in lieu of <br />54 Park Dedication. Vice-Chair Baggenstoss seconded.
